The annual JORVIK Viking Festival returns every year with an exciting mixture of combat, academic, archaeological and historical events celebrating the fearsome Vikings that once ruled this great land. The biggest Viking festival in Europe, celebrated normally durring February, encounters the Vikings return to the place they once called home. It is a great chance to not only to suddenly see Vikings randomly walk the streets of York durring the day but as a photographer, to capture the essence and feel that appears durring this event. I hope to be present at the 2013 event next year for their 28th Annul JORVIK Viking Festival, taking place from 16-24th February.
