It was a wet winters morning as I made my way to Ripley, Harrogate. With Christmas just gone and New Year round the corner, today was a much bigger day for Chloe and Fraser, it was their Wedding day! Preparations were in full swing as I arrived at the gorgeous Broxholme family home with Chloe multi tasking to get her little angel, Sydney and the charming new man in her life, Blake ready.
For Chloe, being a photographer too, it suddenly felt odd being the bride on the other side of the camera but with years of experience capturing weddings, her skills shinned through making the day a breeze and lots of fun. Looking smart as a carrot, Fraser (newly qualified in the British Parachute Regt.) and his fellow comrades awaited the arrival of the bride to be at the cute All Saints Church, Ripley.
After the ceremony, it was off to York for the wedding breakfast at 1331 where the newly weds and guests found comfort from the outdoor chill and indulged in the warmth of a cosy and relaxed lunch with great service and delicious food.
Before Chloe and Fraser made their way to their hotel for a little down time, we headed outdoors once more for few a couple shots. Even when it is dark, wet and cold; York still has a way to make that look like something from a fairy tale book, specially when you are with a gorgeous bride & handsome groom.
De Grey Ballroom is definitely one of those places that ‘wow’ you when you walk in, beautifully lit for a relaxed and fun atmosphere. It was AWSOME to be part of and capture this special day that both Chloe and Fraser have been long waiting for. They deserve all the very best. | PRINTS & DOWNLOADS
