Emma and Thomas wanted to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary with a fun family portrait shoot in the sunny city of Barcelona. I had just the perfect spot for the occasion in mind, Montjuic. It is one of my favourite areas as it is full of hidden gems to be discovered (as long as you are not put off by a bit of walking) from the times of the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition and 1992 Summer Olympics. Our first stop was at the Caixa Forum art museum which has a bright exterior area, great for portraits and it also gave us some time to chat and get to know each other. After that we headed over to GREC theatre, built in 1929, for the second part of the shoot. It is a magical setting and the perfect sunlight we had on that day made it even more memorising. It was great to meet the Steinmetz fun loving family and discover the story behind their 10th wedding anniversary.
